Welcome to One Heart Studio, where all hearts meet and grow together. We believe that transforming one’s body, mind, and soul can be done through yoga and creative expressions through arts and inner-healing therapy that accelerates growth. We invite and provide space for accredited yoga instructors to conduct workshops and training for the public and aspiring yoga teachers.
Our studio was designed to cater to people from different walks of life. We created a welcoming space that nurtures positive thoughts, actions, community, and growth. We also have a retail area where you can purchase yoga props and art supplies.
Dr K. Nithiananthini, or Nithia.K is professionally serving as an Assistant Director at the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. Earlier, she taught in secondary school, focusing on vocational education and assessment for 13 years. Having a solid background in instructional strategies using different modes of instruction has equipped her with the needed knowledge and skills, especially when teaching yoga.
As part of her passion for living harmoniously with the universe and all the living beings in it, she has embarked on her journey to undertake a Hatha Yoga course in 2009. She has completed and recognised 200 Hours of International Yoga Teacher guided by Astanga Master SK Durai and 80 Hours of Fertility, Pre, and Post Pregnancy Yoga, taught by Teacher Mahaletchumi from Sakthi School of Yoga. During Covid-19, she has secured an opportunity to learn 48 hrs Yoga Anatomy Course from Dr Mrityunjay Rathore (India) to establish more profound and scientific knowledge of yoga and human anatomy.
Apart from Yoga, she has ensured her passion in bringing to light the co-dependence between the practice of Yoga and self-healing. In 2016, she completed her Diploma in Varma Therapy from Bharathiar University (India) and continued to train a few badges of students in the area under Sakthi Maiam. As a boon from the universe, she was initiated as a Sri Gayathri Sadhagar and a Reiki Master by a prominent Sri Gayathri Yogi and Reiki Grandmaster, Dr BP Pranav (Pranav Swasta Stanam, India). She continues her studies and research that involves multi-modal alternative healing methods and natural ways of living, especially in the Ayurvedic Dietitian Course under Ayushpati and Siddha Mudras Foundation course under Dr Saalai Kalpana Devi (India). She also has completed her Level 1 Tibetan Healing and Singing Bowl from Master Alex Young, who is a prominent healer in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
She is actively and independently involved in many community projects involving yoga teaching, practices and therapy for international students, physiotherapy students and locals. Her motivation is to continue to serve humans, regardless of their beliefs, background, and faith, by incorporating a holistic way of yogic life that includes empowering people with the knowledge of yoga, healthy eating and self-healing method using mudras and Varma points. In addition, it is also her passion to do extensive research in this area, collaborating with certified doctors worldwide for scientific findings and publications.
